Be treated to a unique and memorable experience of whisky, billiards and banter, in the iconic and historic surrounds of Hotel Lindrum’s back bar and billiards room

This memorable afternoon will begin with David Baker from Bakery Hill Distillery sharing the history of Victorian Whisky and the story of Bakery Hill. The tasting will include Victorian Gin, a Classic Single Malt, a Double Wood and a Peated Malt.

The tasting experience will be entwined with a billiards lesson around the famed Lindrum Billiards Table. Steeped in Melbourne’s history, the Hotel Lindrum was built for tea merchants in 1900 and later became Lindrum’s Billiard Centre, named for Walter Lindrum and the family that produced four generations of billiard champions. The billiards room contains memorabilia from Walter Lindrum’s championship era and a nostalgic air that will transport you to Melbourne’s past.

Executive Chef André Christian E. Dulay has crafted a menu of canapé morsels for the afternoon, showcasing seasonal produce sourced from across Victoria and matched to each of the unique tipples.
