Welcome to Robata Japanese Grill, a vibrant new venture by the team behind Melbourne favourites San Telmo, Pastuso, Palermo and Asado.
The name itself comes from the ancient Japanese grilling method ‘Robatayaki’ which directly translates as “fireside cooking”. – we provide an interpretation of this style of cooking, informed by our own expertise and experiences traveling and eating in Japan.
San Telmo follows the Argentine ethos that food should be shared between lovers, family and friends, with a beautiful menu of Parrilla-grilled premium meats and fresh, filling sides. The 2.5 metre bespoke Parrilla charcoal grill and cosy, bohemian dining room create an authentic and memorable Argentinian experience.
Nestled at the end of hip AC/DC lane, Pastuso brings the best of Peruvian cuisine with a cevicheria, Pisco bar and Parrilla charcoal grill.
